    Grow Bioplastics At Grow Bioplastics, our vision is to dream, design, and deliver biobased chemicals and materials from plants and agricultural waste. Our first products use a patented, biodegradable polymer made from lignin, a natural material found in all grasses and trees that is produced at a rate of over 50 million tons each year by the paper and biofuel industries. With this biopolymer, we are creating biodegradable mulch films and plantable gardening and nursery containers to improve the sustainability of agriculture. We are also working on creating grades of material suitable for use in other markets, including agricultural harvest totes and bins, trash bags, rigid and foamed packaging, and even 3D printing filaments.

    Plastic Smog Emissions Closed Loop The Prevent Plastic Smog Emissions closed loop system stops waste micro plastic particles (beads and fibers) from being discharged into waterways and the oceans through the sewage system. The closed loop system salvages dryer and washing machine lint and discarded micro beads to transform them into resources and products: 1. UpGyres consortium designs, builds, and distributes washing machine lint traps that stop microfibers from reaching water ways that flow into the ocean. 2.
